Prior to pursuing her law degree, Ms. Cody worked in reentry services in Buncombe County, North Carolina, where she assisted former inmates readjust to life outside of prison walls.

Cody graduated from the Charlotte School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 2012. During her law school career, Oksana gained practical experience by working for two different clinics, the Criminal Law Clinic and the Immigration Clinic. She also demonstrated her passion for giving back to the community by completing more than 150 hours of pro bono work during her three years at Charlotte Law. In addition, Cody helped her fellow students by working as a writing consultant for her school’s writing center.
